Irregular Ramblings

 I have noticed that, of the Japanese media I watch, the detective and mystery genre seems to do significantly better in rating than other styles or themes. There also seems to be a LOT of them produced. I began to wonder if there was a cultural aspect that I was missing to account for this, but then it got quite dark. (My theory, that is.)
