Goodbye Dear Friend

I love my scanner… It’s been good to me for nearly two years. Sadly, this morning, at 9:15 A.M. it passed away.

While attempting to scan a picture for my story on my behalf, it fell ill. After much fluttering of lights and grinding of gears, it finally flat-lined. Despite extended efforts to resuscitate the downed device, I finally had to give up.

RIP My faithful scanner. You will be missed. (But swiftly replaced on payday.)

On a side note, Chapter One of Spiral (a Sakuraiba story) is finished and will be posted on Friday. Sadly without the picture. As soon as I replace my scanner I will add any missed artwork.

It's OK to laugh. ^_^

It was actually pretty funny when I got over the shock and stopped cursing at my computer. I opened the lid while the scanner was having it's breakdown and was nearly blinded by the light.

I was seeing spots in front of my eyes for HOURS XD
But at least I have an excuse to buy a new one now. But afsg;ldk payday is over two loooong weeks away...
