Ah, I'm glad. Sometimes when I have something to say the Author is like "It's my story I'll do as I want." I usually don't say anything unless I think the story is very close to perfection, though.
That makes more sense now that you mentioned you wrote another fic. I (obviously) didn't read that one yet, so I didn't know what was going on. If you want to make it more stand alone-y, it's definitely a good idea to take a paragraph to reiterate what happened before. Not so much that the previous readers are bored, though.
Yeah, I can see where you went with the ending. Since Ohno implied he would do it again, that obviously opens the question of "relationship"? So humor was a good way to avoid the drama of the question and end the fic on a happy note.
