The English (British English) have an easier time with Japanese than German, I think. But American generally have an extremely difficult time with both.
I noticed that in Kiroii Namida too! But then, isn't it kinf of like when the say 'Sankyou' in English? Because they don't really have the 'th' sound. It's funny but cute at the same time, right? XD
