I see! I get it perfectly now! ^^ While those letters are not a part of the offical English alphabet, we do know thme, and how they sound, and some writers do use them.(Like in fantasy novels when they want to give their characters 'exotic' magical sounding names.)
Every language has different dialects, I suppose. I guess I'm pretty lucky in that I can change my way of writing to fit the style of my prose. (Usually, anyway.) It's in my comments where I show my true manner of speaking, because I'm not thinking about composing a story; I'm just writing whatever pops into my head. XD
Have you tried saying Zimmermann with an american accent? Something like: [Zi~mah-mn~] They pretty much swallow their vowels or turn them into constenants. >< That's why they such trouble pronoucing Japanese words.
Like saying [Ah-rah-shi] instead of [A-Ra-Shi] (Even though their first single should have explained the diffrence to them.) I'm convinced Jonny titled it like that because he was trying to make sure westerners could say Arashi properly. A.Ra.Shi is how a pronouciation guide in an English dictonary would demonstate the word.
