I Confess, It's A Meme....

It’s been a while since I did a MEME, but I was tagged by [livejournal.com profile] zukkoke_iero  so I thought, why not?

The rules are simple, just list 25 things about yourself or your life that you don’t think your f-list already know. It doesn’t have to be anything too revealing, just 25 really random things. Then tag 25 how ever many people you want. (I is breaking the rules. XD)

Okay, 25 things…. Well, these aren’t really secrets, just things that I guess just haven’t come in conversation with most of my friends list. That said, some of mine are a bit ‘confessional’, but I have no shame so…. On with it.

25 Random things about Ami:

01 – I probably have an addictive personality…. I smoke, am addicted to coffee (at least 5 cups a day) and Arashi. I do not, however, do any illegal drugs or drink alcohol very often.

02 – I have tried marijuana though. I kinda didn’t see the point.

03 – I was born two months early and without any eardrums, as a result, I was 80% deaf until I was 8-years-old when had two operations to fix it.

04 – The mother of my first ever boyfriend (when I was nine) later had an affair with my uncle and that “ex” is now my cousin.

05 – My real father left my mother when I was 18-months-old. I begged my mother to get in touch with him when I was six and she did.

06 – Sometimes, I wish I had never asked my mother to contact my father.

07 – My step-father (who is made of WIN) is only seven years older than my eldest brother. (and fifteen years older than me)

08 – My eldest brother is the same age as Ohno and my other older brother is the same age as Nino and Jun.

09 – The real fathers’ step-son was born on December 24th 1982.

10 – My half-sister has a degree in economics.

11 – I secretly love the fact that I can theoretically craft a ‘second Arashi’ from my family members.

12 – I dislike all seafood except canned tuna and battered cod. (But Arashi always makes it look sooooo good!)

13 – I’m not allowed to drive because I have had an epileptic seizure within the last three years.

14 – I lost my virginity at the age of fourteen.

15 – I am heterosexual, but I once frenched at girl when I was a teenager.

16 – I have broken only two bones in my life. My collar-bone when I was two, and my little finger on my left hand when I was eight.

17 – My name is Ami (spelt with an ‘i’) because it is the French form and means ‘beloved’ in French and ‘friend’ in Japanese. And because the midwife at my birth was French and the doctor was called Dr. Frendleigh (pronounced as friendly).

18 – When I was fifteen, I had a fanfiction.net account for my anime related fanfictions. They’re still there, but I haven’t logged on since 2006.

19 – I once stole a candy bar from a shop. (I was five and it was our own shop that my mother ran out of our home….)

20 – I’ve never been in trouble with the law, but I once had to testify in court as a witness. (I was fourteen, and they did it via relay, so I wasn’t actually in the courtroom.)

21 – Including my current relationship, I have been in three ‘serious’ relationships in my life.

22 – All my boyfriends (serious or otherwise) have started out as friends. I have never gone on a date with someone I don’t know. (And will say no when asked.)

23 – I used to be very accident prone, and have had a grand total of 127 stitches for various cuts, gashes and operations in my life.

24 – Before hospitals began using dissolvable stitches as standard, I used to keep every stitch when they were removed and collected them. (I still have most of them.)

25 – I’ve only been 5”3 since I was thirteen, but I’ve never been asked for ID when buying cigarettes or alcohol, and people always think I’m a few years older than I am.

Pictorial Proof:

The first picture was taken in 2002 and the second one was taken early last year (2009).

YAY TO KNOWING MORE ABOUT! YOU! I totally will do this since you tagged me, but it'll have to wait until at least tomorrow. Of course, I said that the other day about another post and never made it, but I've been working too much lately. >.< You're pretty, btw! Make your own Arashi.... XDDD I've never broken a bone before. I've also never heard of anyone not having eardrums. How was that fixed? Did they construct eardrums? So neat.

I know what you mean. there are so many times I've said I'll post something for someone and I just couldn't find the time/energy for it. XD

It's not so much that I want to make my own Arashi, it just amuses me so much for some reason. A don't remember the broken collar-bone at all, but the broken piky was interesting, most because it didn't hurt, and I remember telling the doctor that his was wrong: it wasn't broken because I could still bend it. XD

Well, normally, eardrum are a reeally thin layer of skin that reverbirate sound right? and when your ears 'pop' that is the bit of skin getting a tear in it. Usually, your body heal that sort of thing super fast, but when I was born that piece of skin never grew in properly at all. They managed to correct it by using skin grafts to simulate the natural eardrum. The only difference is, I have to be really careful not to pop my ears, because it won't heal the way real ones do.

/end long-winded explaination.

I'm looking forward to sinding out more about you though!
